  O.M.G. Good thing I live up nr Oakhurst or I would be pushing 200 lbs.
  
  The food here is delicious, and the service even if really busy is always friendly. They keep their salsa bar stocked up with excellent salsa and condiments and even the chips are really fresh. And prices are very reasonable!
  
  So If you're hungry and in the mood for EXCELLENT Mexican food, come here. Nothing fancy, but just like my abuelas kitchen. Just how I like it.

  This place was crazy packed and really messy. Not clean. Ordered at the register and my order was ready pretty quickly. The workers weren't very nice at all. Asked a girl which salsa was the hottest. She rolled her eyes at me and pointed to the one. Rude! I was being nice too. Happy to take the food home.
  
  Ordered the chicken torta and spicy shrimp tostada. Thankfully the food made up for the service. The spicy shrimp tostada had tomato and avocado in it. The spicy shrimp and tostada was really delicious! It was spicy too. Great kick to it.
  
  The chicken torta was just as good! The chicken was cooked well and tasted really good with the bread and cheese! Yum!
  
  Not very good service, but the food was really good and at a good price!

  This place was delicious as always!   The spicy shrimp tacos or burrito is my usual go to.  I didn't realize you could ask for the shrimp tostada with spicy shrimp until today and it was !   So delicious.  I could have eaten just the tostada, there was SO much shrimp on it.  
  
  They're busy ALL the time, but the service is always excellent and speedy, without compromising the quality of the food.

  Delicious Mexican Food in Fresno! If you're craving Mexican food, this is the place to go! Not only is their food made-to-order and tastes amazing, they are also reasonably priced. Taqueria style restaurant, walk-up to counter and order, then have a seat and they will bring it to your table when ready or take it to-go! They also have a self-serve salsa bar. Highly recommend the spicy fish taco, shrimp cocktail, and the michelada.

  The Don of all things burritos and tacos! Don Pepe is a classic favorite around Fresno and they never disappoint when it comes to their food. The best thing about the chain is that it is family owned and all the employees in the kitchen are hustling working hard to cook your food to perfection. My go-to is the Chile verde or asada super burrito and highly recommend both! The meat is clean and not fatty which is a huge plus. Burrito is a huge portion and comes with guacamole, rice, pinto beans, and cheese to seal the deal. The nachos and tostadas are really good too. The place is fairly small and during lunch hour gets packed but the turnover is quick. I admire Don Pepe Taqueria with my whole heart, and forever recommending to my friends and family!
